You know how Annie Hall beat Star Wars for the Best Picture Oscar in ‘77? Pretty sure history will repeat and Up in the Air will take out Best Picture over Avatar this year. And rightly so, but some people will feel about this result how I did about the ‘77 result. I was furious when I was a kid and found out (in 1988 or something) that Star Wars was beaten by some Woody Allen movie. I think I actually thought Annie Hall was the movie about that orphan with red curly hair. Years later I gave it a watch. And queitly ate my words. Annie Hall is genius.
